A HOME ...THREE YEARS IN THE MAKING

Once in awhile I am lucky enough to have the opportunity to get in on the ground floor when it comes to constructing a brand new home for a lovely family. This amazing project was my ideal.

We started planning this light-filled, 6,100-square-foot dream home in Roslyn New York, three years ago. This was a team effort. From the drawings by esteemed architect Michael Wallin to the actual building by Robert Beer everything was a collaboration.

My clients basically knew what they wanted ... a forever home that was luxurious yet suitable for their two young children and two loving dogs. They wanted a unique one-of -a- kind modern home that was equally sophisticated yet young and fun. My job was to make sure they were happy, comfortable & excited by the design.

The following are a few of the rooms completed so far...

ABSTRACT ART HUNT

By admin On April 9, 2015 · Add Comment

Recently, I have been scouring the city for great looking, unique pieces of artwork in the abstract style, for some savvy  clients.  From paintings to wall sculptures, it has been an exciting adventure to see what is currently being exhibited in the art market today. One of the most popular areas of Manhattan for art is the Chelsea neighborhood, recognized for its plethora of art galleries, constantly updated exhibitions, and the variety of up and coming artists. Another fantastic destination for art is the 10th floor of the NYDC (www.nydc.com). There is always a new exciting art exhibition promoting exceptional artists. Take a look at some of the pieces I loved at the various galleries below:

ANTIQUE SHOPPING STAMFORD STYLE

Stamford Connecticut is one of the best place to antique shop. I always love going there for clients. When you find incredible, one of a kind pieces for someones home it's a feeling like no other. Not only are you bringing elements into their homes that are rare and special, you are also bringing in something old that tells a story. I love finding out what period each find is from and knowing the background behind them all. I usually have a rule that I never shop for myself when I am out with a client, however there were such amazing things this time that I just could not help myself and snagged some incredible pieces:)... ant7 first
